Thumbnail image Villa Verone, located at 13 Douglas Ave, has quickly become a hub for downtown activity as well as fine food, drinks and a classic European feel. This week, they give BocaJump a delicious look into a light summer meal.

A delicious light meal from our Douglas Avenue neighbors

The Dish

5 sprigs of parsley, chopped.
Juice of a half lemon
2 tablespoons of butter
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup half and half
7 oz tilapia
2 cloves of roasted garlic, mashed
5 cherry tomatoes, crushed
dry oregano
salt and pepper
Angel hair pasta, cooked al dente.

Preheat saute pan on medium heat.
Add butter and swirl to coat pan.
Add fish and cook for 2 minutes a side.
Add white wine, lemon juice, roasted garlic, cherry tomatoes, and a pinch of oregano and let simmer for 2 minutes. Add cream, salt and pepper and cook until sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes. Serve hot over angel hair pasta and pour sauce over all and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
