El Paraiso is another great spot for a late-night burrito. One essential component of the late-night burrito is that the place be open when the mood strikes, and the only time Las Bocas have seen this place closed was once for remodeling. The service is always fast, the food is good, and (drum roll, please) it's inexpensive. There is plenty of seating available, although it can get pretty crowded around 2:00 a.m. on a weekend.
The favored dish by the BocaJump team at El Paraiso is the steak burrito special, which comes with fries and a drink for under $7. The burritos are big, though, so you definitely get your money's worth. The menu has everything a typical taqueria would: burritos, tacos, gorditas, tortas, etc.
They do have a second location on 314 McLean which has a drive-through, so westsiders or those too lazy to get out of their car do not have to be denied the pleasures of El Paraiso. Both restaurants are great and are open late.

Quick Eats
The food could be as simple as a hot dog, as ethnic as a chimichanga, as nutritionally bereft as an Italian beef with peppers (au jus). Get friendly with your cardiologist. The Quick Eats staff (there really is a staff of Quick Eats experts, all under the age of 25, all short of money, all well-versed in subtleties of French fries) arrives unannounced and pay for their meals.
