The city of Elgin's Free Movies in the Park continues Thursday, Aug. 2, at Festival Park in downtown Elgin. This week's movie is Tangled.

There will be family friendly activities beginning at 7 p.m. The Larkin Center will be selling popcorn and other refreshments. Enjoy pre-show fun with Gameworks and Kyuki-Do Martial Arts. Kids can also spin the wheel and win great prizes including a free birthday party, free martial arts classes and more. Plus $2 train rides on the Elgin Express Train will be available. The movie begins at dusk.

And join the city of Elgin and the Elgin Police Department in celebration of National Night Out with a special edition of Free Movies in the Park on Tuesday, Aug. 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Festival Park.
