BocaJump will be on hand Saturday morning to live-blog the city of Elgin’s “interactive public hearing” to field questions and perhaps to hear some advice from residents about the city’s proposed 2012 budget.

Members of the Elgin City Council and the city administration will lead the session, with is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to noon in the Heritage Ballroom of The Centre, the city-owned downtown family recreation facility at 100 Symphony Way.

City officials say the session is intended to answer residents questions, and Mayor David Kaptain said Wednesday don’t come to complain unless you can offer a solution.
