Elgin police arrested three teenagers early Tuesday in connection with a burglary at the Elgin National Little League building, 709 Summit  St.

David Oshana, 18, of the 1000 block of Hobblebush Drive, Elgin, was arrested along with two other teenagers after police initially stopped a car in which they were riding for a traffic violation at about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday near Ironwood and Stonebridge Court.

Upon investigation, officer found the teens had proceeds from the Little League building. They were brought in for questioning and later charged. Oshana and a 15-year-old Elgin teen were charged with burglary. A 17-year-old also from Elgin was charged with one count of misdemeanor possession of stolen property and one count of criminal damage to property.  A fourth teen who was riding with them at the time of the arrest was released.
